Why did we select them?
The Cardiac Arrest Survival Foundation began in 2006 with the aim to reduce the number of needless sudden cardiac deaths in Australia by facilitating the adoption of cardiac responder programmes in the home, workplace and public areas by increasing public awareness and contributing to public policy.
Where will the funds go?
Money donated to the Cardiac Arrest Survival Foundation will be used to educate the community on how important early defibrillation is in saving someone's life, who has suffered a cardiac arrest. The Cardiac Arrest Survival Foundation also aims to collect and research new data about sudden cardiac assets, to provide the latest methods in basic life support and also to offer the victims, families and there rescuers the support they need after suffering form a cardiac arrest.
